What you'll need
- IRS EIN notice (CP575 or 147C)
- One document with your legal name and physical address
- Your state formation filing
- A business bank account for direct deposit
- Rough revenue and employee counts
- Your own Login.gov account
You keep and enter bank numbers, your full EIN and logins yourself. Allow at least 10 business days after submitting for SAM.gov to go Active (Federal Service Desk).
